In addition to Sunday worships and fellowship afterwards, you can get connected to our church on a more intimate level through any of the following activities.  A number of these activities have been temporarily suspended due to the COVID crisis.

Youth Activities

Youth Nights once a month

We strive to gather our youth once a month for a fellowship and bonding experience. We have taken them bowling, Blazer Tag, Movies, etc.. This allows not only the youth but the families to get to know each other better.

Leadership Training for Christ (LTC)

Leadership Training for Christ is designed to stimulate and encourage spiritual, mental and social growth among students’ grades 3-12 through developing skills in leadership, Bible knowledge and Christian servanthood. LTC sponsors an annual convention at Easter and supports activities such as Bible bowl, drama and other creative endeavors and service projects.

 Summer Camps

Summer camp attendance is encouraged at Lake Travis Church of Christ, with youth attending camps with Lubbock Christian University.

Austin Area Church of Christ Events

Youth participate in devotionals, socials and presentation with other Austin area Church of Christ members.

Bible Study

Specific studies oriented toward youth are available.

 Congregational Activities

Potluck Dinners 

We enjoy fellowship meals each second Sunday of the month after our worship services. This provides us a time to relax and edify each other while enjoy a good meal.

Church-wide Prayer

Prayer requests are welcomed, either through a written request or church email.

Benevolence

Lake Travis Church of Christ membership provides assistance to those who are sick and needy through meals, errand running, clothing and shelter.

Wednesday Evening Service

Mid-week worship, devotional and Bible studies are provided for all ages.

Ladies Ministry

Second Tuesday of the month – Evening meal and Bible study
Last Monday of the month – Lunch fellowship at a local restaurant
First and third Wednesday – 11:00 am class.

World Bible School

This free Bible study program connects people worldwide and in our community to learn more about God’s Word. Church members participate as World Bible School study helpers to assist others in understanding the Bible. Enroll in a course here.

 Community Service

Lake Travis Church of Christ makes efforts to reach out to the Austin area by doing community service work in the name of Jesus. Preparing meals at the Ronald McDonald House, volunteering at schools and civic events and participating in annual programs such as providing Thanksgiving food boxes.

We are also members of the Austin Disaster Relief Network and periodically shepherd families who are recovering from disasters.
