This past weekend our church family was blessed to have Rex Boyles in our mist. He held a workshop on Friday evening and all day Saturday. He then finished with a great lesson from God’s Word on Sunday morning. He shared with us the good news that Jesus can!
Rex explained that Jesus has the power and the ability to calm storms in our lives, cast out demons, cure diseases, and conquer the grave. This is not only good news, but it’s the best news ever!
How many of you believe that Jesus is the Son of God? How many of you believe that Jesus Christ is the one and only Son of God? How many of you believe that He has the ability to help you? How many of you believe that Jesus can?
You see, Jesus took a young boy who didn’t do well in school, who had a difficult time with attention deficient hyper disorder and a speech impediment. This boy had no confidence in himself and wondered about his future. Because Jesus can…. He gave his life to the Lord who blessed him to go on and become a successful business leader, a faithful Christian husband, father, and gospel preacher.
That young boy was me. If God can take someone like me and mold me into what He wants me to be, He can also take you and mold you into the person He’s calling you to be.
If Jesus can help me, he can help you too!
