God’s People

gods-people-2-

God uses his people to point others to Jesus and to accomplish his ultimate purpose to bring salvation to all those who would believe.  Paul says, “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose” (Romans 8:28).

Scripture teaches that none of us…., that includes you and me are without sin in our lives.  “If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us” (1 John 1:8).  John goes on to say, however, “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness” (1 John 1:9).

Some may have some deep and dark secrets that they don’t want anyone to know, but God knows all and he’s willing to forgive.

God loves each and every person, no matter the sin.  He wants to establish a lasting relationship with you.  We all need him and will have no excuse if we are not in him and he in us.  The Apostle Paul said, “His eternal power and divine nature have been clearly seen so that people are without excuse” (Romans 1:20).

Since we are all without excuse and we are all loved by God, then we all need Jesus Christ as Savior.  After people embrace Christ as their Savior, they have to make him Lord of their life.

My prayer is that all will submit to the calling God has for your life.
