God is good all the time! All the time God is good! I believe God is better than good. Sometimes we might not always see God’s goodness, but we don’t have to look too far to see how good he really is.
Since the beginning of time we see God’s goodness. In Genesis chapter 1 we find that the light God created was good, the waters and dry land along with the separation of day and night were good.
God’s goodness cannot be separated from who God is. It’s been said, “You cannot have goodness without God, just as you cannot have God without goodness.”
God is the one who placed everything in motion. It all started with God. He’s the one that first loved us. He wants us back in relationship with him. He sees the sin in our lives and is willing to forgive. He wants to strengthen us, protect us and guide us into all truth because of the love he has for us. David said, “For the Lord is good and his love endure forever….” (Psalm 100:5).
Even during our bad choice to separate ourselves from him, he loved us so much Christ gave himself for us. “God demonstrated his love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8).
God has a solution for all the problems of the world found in John 3:16 where the Bible says, “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.”
Is God good? YES!
